Bitte ein Bit

Picked this one up at the 83rd ave. auction in July of '98. Payed way more than should have for this one, but I guess my dad really liked it. It had to be jump started in order to start it, actually, I drove it to work that way for a couple of weeks. I parked on one of the downgrades in the parking garage, so I only needed to push start it in the mornings (befor it got to hot). I love how easy they are to start this way.

As of 8/4, I fixed one of the muffler leaks, adjusted the valves and timing, replaced the door panels, and replaced the driver seat cover with Empi factory style covers. She already has new factory style carpet throughout, full tint, and an Empi short-shifter. I plan on finising the remaining seats, clean and paint the wheels, and block off the radio hole.

After all is said and done, I hope to sell her for about $2600. It's been a good car for the summer, driving to work and back and forth from Phoenix to Tempe. I especially like the short shifter, makes the tedious job a little more fun.
